Producer | Director | Performer
I am an experienced producer & theatre maker with 15 years experience working in an array of the arts’ & voluntary sector organisations.
Artistically, I am interested in relationships, connectivity & personal stories.
I am passionate about offering a platform to unheard voices by fusing together participatory & professional arts experiences.
I have curated an array of events, performances and immersive experiences for various audiences from across South West England and Scotland.
Events include the inaugural Family Festival at the Courtyard Theatre in Hereford in 2015, Doing Things Differently in Bristol in partnership with Bristol City Council and Diverse City in 2016 and several other intergenerational events and one day festivals.
I began work as a director in youth arts - directing shows with young people from across Scotland as a freelance director & facilitator.
I worked with Royal Lyceum Theatre, Edinburgh, Perth Theatre, West Lothian Youth Theatre, National Theatre Scotland and Youth Arts Scotland.
Theatre credits include Blackout by Davey Anderson, Cuba by Liz Lochhead and most recently Passing the Baton by Mike Akers & May by Phoebe Kemp.
Graduating in 2003 from the Oxford School of Drama, I worked as a performer on various community theatre tours across the South of England and Scotland.
Roles have included musicals, physical theatre pieces and educational shows. I have performed as part of the Edinburgh Festival on several occasions and am adept at performing for community/ relaxed audiences.
